This page is dedicated to candidates willing to apply for OQN (before ONP – Overseas Nursing Programme).

ONP application you will need to meet the following requirements (changes from 1 October 2014):

1. At least 1 year’s experience as a nurse – you mentioned you will be completing a total of 10 months work experience by December 2014, you need 2 more months to qualify. You will also need to obtain a Certificate of Employment from your employers.This should include job role, length of employment, duties and responsibilities, pay.

2. IELTS (academic) with score of 7 in each category.

3. Test of Competency (Check NMC website for this).

4. Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council registration –  To start the registration she/he will have to obtain the required score in IELTS above.

At this stage, we will be able to apply/represent your Work Permit application.

Be aware, that this is valid as well for all nurses registered on NMC before 1 October 2014.
